Fire For Effect Photography -- Kevin David

Kevin David, owner of Fire for Effect Photography Design, has been working with photography and graphic design since 2005 when he was first ultimately inspired by the nightscapes of Tokyo and other major cities. Born in Lakenheath, Woodbridge, UK, Kevin moved to the United States some time later and is now majoring in Communication Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

Kevin currently shoots with a Nikon D50 along with his 55mm, 18-50mm, 55-200mm, 18-135mm, and 70-300mm lenses. His favorite style of photography is cityscape, especially at night and landscapes.

Not only does Kevin specialize in photography, but most of the graphic design work at ffephotography.com is contributed to him. As owner, he expects Fire for Effect will drastically expand into a much larger community of graphic artists and photographers in the near future.

Fire For Effect Photography -- Matthew Ryson

Matthew Ryson, member since Summer 2007, works for FFE as a photographer and web designer. He has been working with web design and web development since 2002 when he was first introduced to graphic design and needed a website to display his artwork. Eventually, Matthew was intruiged by the capabilities of expression through photography. He believes photography is a very important form of expression that falls somewhere in between fine arts and applied arts and that one must learn photography in order to fully appreciate it.

Matthew's favorite styles of photography are macro/close-ups, urban/cityscapes, architectural, and conceptual. He presently shoots with a Pentax K100D camera along with 18-55mm and 50-200mm lenses.

Matthew is currently working on getting his BFA degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
